If you haven’t been to Oceans II recently, you are in for a very pleasant surprise. We still have a ways to go but the transition is amazing and exciting. Gary has spearheaded the front gate/arbor project and is working with the city for our new plantings. Charles and his son Mathew, were the owners/contractor who installed it for us and did a great job in spite of the the challenges. And then there is Mike who has spent endless hours working with the painters and overseeing the project……there isn’t enough thanks to tell him how much we appreciate it.

Soon we will have a proposal from the painter so those of you who are unable to paint your own balconies/patios can hire them to do it for you. Everyone is responsible for their own area and we need to get everyone’s place looking good. If there is damaged wood on your divider walls, the association will take care of replacing it but each owner is responsible for painting it. See our web site for the correct paint to use. We have some available and you can see Tom about where it is stored. We are working to slowly change the door colors and trim to white. We know it won’t be possible on every part but hope we can get most of it white.

We are looking better all the time while at the same time making the necessary structural changes on the building. It’s almost summer and hopefully we will all be able to enjoy these great improvements.

Hope to see many of you at the Owners Meeting on May 7. It is at the offices of Community First Management. The address is 3061 Brickhouse Court, Suite 109, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Then afterwards there will be our HOT DOG PARTY on the front lawn to welcome in summer. Our Annual Picnic will take place in June.

Sincerely,

Peg Jarman
